I am very thankful for the opportunity to work as part of the Alexander City School System. I earned my Bachelor of History degree from Jacksonville State University in 2007 and a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from the University of Montevallo in 2016. From 2004 to 2015, I also served in several afterschool programs and youth groups which served to increase my love of working with students and their families.

I have worked with students in many different stages of life from Pre-K to College Preparation. My counseling experiencing includes both individual and group settings focusing on a variety of topics including: educational development, life skills training, pursuing scholarships, career preparation, family dynamics strategies, addiction interventions, emotional processing, social skills development, and holistic mental health improvement. I am looking forward to putting my knowledge and experience to work for the students and families of ACS!

I have been married to my wife, Whitney, for 10 years. We have a curious and energetic 18-month-old daughter, Sydney, as well as our adorable rescue dog named Hailey. We enjoy attending Church of the Highlands and love to travel around Alabama looking for great places to eat! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have regarding how I can help your child grow and succeed here at Radney Elementary School.
